It’s not only a website and logo that is new around here! For the first half of this year we have been working on a broad raft of changes for the BusSAFE program. In response to feedback from educators, we have a suite of new and improved materials to help deliver BusSAFE sessions to a wider audience: that includes updates to our in-class presentations, post-session support materials, and videos.
Our new program materials contain the same valuable messages as before but ensure we have content suitable for all students from Foundation to Year 9.
Filming our new video materials was a highlight of the last six months. Our new purpose-built videos feature real students navigating trips on a real bus. We had a great time filming with a talented bunch of young people: we hope your students will relate to them and take on their bus safety advice!
These fantastic new videos will begin appearing in classrooms from Term 4 across SA, Tasmania and Queensland. We can’t wait for you and your students to see them!
